A font was required for a sci-fi themed video, the video game involves aliens that have a resembles to ancient Greek gods. All current available Font steered to towards just a sci-fi theme but did not cater towards the Greek side.
The typeface I've designed is driven by current design trends more than anything else specially the geometric style theme a lot of designers are using by utilizing white space and lots square/symmetrical elements. The weight of the typeface is regular/medium with the width being 27mm and height being 24 mm. It’s a monospaced in terms of spacing.
Process:
I begun this project with reviewing sci-fi themed font collecting the ones I preferred then research Greek style fonts and collecting those. After doing so I begun sketching rough concepts of of the letters a,e,g,n,p,h and o as those letters would make the process of creating the rest of the alphabet a lot easier and once completed I proceeded to create the rest of the letters.
